Item Availability

We do our best to keep the information on our website accurate. Sometimes, however, floor models are sold or manufacturers change or discontinue items before we can update our site. If you are planning to visit our store to look for a certain item you find online, we always recommend calling to double check to make sure the item is available and on display at the time of your visit.

Deposit

Stock Items
A minimum 20% down payment is required on all orders. Refunds will be made only if a sale is cancelled within 15 days of date of purchase. If your sale is not cancelled within 15 days, the sale is subject to a charge 20% of the purchase price of any item(s) that are cancelled. Fabric protection once applied is non- refundable.

Special Order Items
We require a minimum 20% deposit on all special orders, as your good faith commitment to the merchandise and is non-refundable. Special orders are custom made for you and are non-cancelable after 3 days. Be assured that we will do everything in our power to get your furniture here as soon as possible, and you will be notified when it arrives. We will not, however, be responsible for unanticipated delays caused by the factory, strikes, or freight companies, and we cannot, therefore, guarantee a delivery day.

Layaways
Layaways are restricted to 90 day maximum. We require a 20% minimum deposit on all layaways. Merchandise must be removed from the premises within 90 days of the date of purchase. Cancellation of layaways after 15 days from, date of purchase will result in forfeiture of deposit equal to 20% of the purchase price.

Warranty Information

We pride ourselves in striving to make your new home furnishings purchase flawless, however we are realistic enough to know that perfect furniture does not exist. The natural beauty in furniture exists in its natural variation. Each piece is unique through its color, grain, size and other natural characteristics. If, upon inspection by our service technician, defective workmanship is found, Rooms and Rest will warrant your furniture following the manufacturers guidelines.

Rooms and Rest in agreement with the manufacturer will inspect the item in the comfort of your home. Our service technicians will evaluate the problem and find you the most convenient solution. If we cannot service a specific problem during the first visit, a replacement part will be ordered and the technician will return to your home to complete the repair. If parts are not available we will replace the product at no additional costs to you.*

Wood Products

Most case good items have a one year limited warranty. Please reference your warranty card for more information on a specific product or contact our customer service department.

These items should operate properly under normal use. Doors, drawers and handles should be level and even. Please visit our Furniture Care page for tips on maintaining your furniture in great shape.

Upholstered Furniture

Most items have a one year limited warranty on the fabric and a range of time frames on mechanisms, frames and cushions. Please reference your warranty card for more information on a specific item or contact our customer service department.

If any problem occurs, please contact us as soon as possible as some problems can worsen if left unattended. Our Customer Service team is here to help!

*If your furniture was originally delivered, we will pick up the original items and set up the new items. If your furniture was picked up at one of our locations, we will authorize the exchange and your items should be dropped off and picked up at the nearest Rooms and Rest location with in 30 days of approval.

Service and Repair

All claims for damages, including concealed damages, must be made within 5 days of receipt of goods. We warrant merchandise to be free of manufacturer's defects for a period of one year from date of purchase. This warranty does not apply to "AS IS" or "CLEARANCE" merchandise, or conditions of ordinary wear, soiling and defects resulting from negligence, accidents, improper use, or fading, pilling, and pets. We will honor manufacturer's stated warranty policies. Our Customer Service department can answer other questions relating to your warranty service. There is no warranty for commercial use.
